Ruby and Tigerlily decided to go to the "The Autumn Festival" i.e. dinner, together. So they bundled up, grabbed their umbrellas and headed outdoors to the tent that had been erected on the front lawn of the infirmary. A waterproof pathway was layed out across the lawn. Inside the big tent there was an obvious Octoberfest theme evident in the decorations and music. There was a portly gentleman dressed in leiderhosen, playing an accordian in the corner. The tent was heated, and comfortable. There were several tables. One with salad, German Potato Salad, applies and pinapple. One table contained cheese foundue with bits of bread for dipping. There was roast pork and sausages. For desert there were fruit smoothies and apple strudel. Tigerlily and Ruby enjoyed their dinner in this setting, and then returned to work.
Ruby new the words to the tune that the accordinan player was playing...
