Western Washington Shop Hop

Day 1:

Map, and shop-hop passport beside her, Ruby jumped in her car and headed south. Within 30 minutes she had her first stamp. That was an easy one, a stop at the familiar shop where she takes her Saturday sampler class. The next one would be an adventure. A journey along the gorge to the small community near the dam. The road started out wide, but narrowed, then got curvy and overlooked cliffs and meandered around enormous rock towers. Ruby was apprehensive. She was not exactly sure she could find this shop once she arrived in the town. She eventually saw the sign for the town. A quick right turn and she was there. “Now what?” Ruby thought. She scanned the area and then smiled. Right next to “The Dam Gym”was the shop she was looking for. It was nearly right in front of her. She jumped out of her car, got her stamp, and a latte at the adorable little coffee shop next door, and she was out the door and headed back. She still had some time before she was due at the infirmary, so she was able get two more stamps from shops in the area before heading to work.
