The Shop Hop is Coming!

Ruby is looking forward to a fun-filled weekend. It’s the quilting shop-hop! It all starts tomorrow morning. Ruby will be getting up and heading south to begin. She will stop by three or four shops tomorrow before she has to report to the infirmary for work. The next morning she will stop by the shops around Bywater. Then, in the evening, she will join a group of her quilting friends and the shop hopping will begin in earnest. They will hitting over 20 shops in the next two days, obtaining a free block pattern and matching fabric at each shop. When the event is done, everyone will have enough quilt blocks for an entire quilt top. It is like a state-wide treasure hunt for quilters. Ruby has arranged for two extra days off to properly enjoy it, and recover before returning to work.
