Japanese Visitors:Chapter III River Life

For lunch on Saturday, one of Ruby and Daisy's boyfriends, Artie Gump (along with his wife, May) had a huge barbecue at their house on the river. The spent some time enjoying the lovely weather and the company it that was there before moving on to the next activity, which was a ferry ride across the river.

The girls enjoyed this ride very much, but it went very quickly. After crossing the river they met some of their teachers as well as Daisy for pie. They then got to see the Lavender Farm that was nearby, which was having a festival.

Upon arriving back to Bywater, the girls decided they had more shopping to do, so after visting a store that sold special soap. The girls spend some time power shopping.

Later that night. Ruby was treated to an authentic Japanese meal prepared by her guests. They later invited Daisy to come ane enjoy their cooking as well.

The plans for the next day were to attend Olo's birthday party. The girls were up very late preparing cards for this special event.
