"Alas" said Ruby, "I have had another one of those plain vanilla days! I know I have reponsibilities to those who read my blog and I have nothing ingenious, witty or informative to share with them. I just hope they will forgive me."
"I wonder if the weather will be icy on Friday? That will determine my activities for that day at least. If it does get icy, the forecast is for warmer weather for Saturday, so my plans for a quilt-block class and lunch.. and possibly a movie after that, I think, will still be intact."
"The Bywater City Council is making a controversial vote tonight about whether to let a new hardware store come to Bywater. There is supposed to be guaranteed heated discussion and everybody who has something to say will be given a chance. I have an idea the meeting might still be going when I get back to Bywater after work tonight. I am tempted to drive by city hall just to see. I can't wait to see tomorrow morning's newspaper."
