Fingerprinting

Ruby wiped the ink off of her fingers and handed the card containing her fingerprints to the office worker. She had just been fingerprinted. It is necessary, it seems, in order for her to continue her volunteer work at the constabulary. It came to light while she was learning to take fingerprints in a special class this morning.

"It is always wise to take the opportunity to add to one's skill set when a chance arises." Ruby philosophized.
