Ruby slept in until after 9 a.m. this morning. This is a rarity, but she needs her rest, she has a big and busy weekend ahead.
Friday is payday and she has a lot of things to buy plus arrangements to make before she leaves for her volunteer work. After that she will have about an hour before guests arrive at her cottage for Bunko night. "I love Bunko night," Ruby thought to herself. "Everybody has so much fun!"
Saturday afternoon she will be busy decorating for the Heart-To-Heart Spaghetti feed which will raise money for an orphanage in Honduras. This is an outreach Artie Grubb and his wife May are specifically involved in. "Our decorations are fabulous!" said Ruby. Decorating committees are a specialty of Ruby and Daisy. Right up there with theme parties.
"We probably won't have to do much at the actual Dinner but eat Spaghetti and hear what has to be said," said Ruby, "but I am good a that too!"
