KNOCK..KNOCK...KNOCK!!! Ruby was startled by the noise, as she was watching video tapes of the Olympics. By the time she reached the door, she caught a glimpse of Baby Rube’s car... racing out of site. Sitting on the porch were two get well cards, a video tape and a beautiful bouquet of Dahlias. “ Awwww... throught Ruby.. I am so fortunate to have the nieces that I do." The delivery had come at a good time. Cabin fever was beginning to set in and Ruby was starting to feel isolated and a bit sorry for herself.” This surprise quickly lifted her spirits.
Ruby sniffled through night, finally sleeping in her “magic chair.” In the morning she decided to call in to work and take one more day off.
