Ruby's Plan

“Here is what I think we will do” said Ruby, after applying considerable thought to the matter. “We will pick the Japanese girls up on Friday afternoon. Baby Rube and Bramblerose will join us and we will have a cookout at my cottage. Then with the addition of “Daisy” and some of Brambleroses’s and Baby Rube’s friends, we will have a Bunco tournament, followed by prizes and home-made ice cream with assorted toppings for desert.” “ Bramblerose and Baby Rube will be staying with me.”

“I am still looking for an extra bed for my spare room, so if you know where I can obtain one, let me know,”she said.

“Saturday morning we will caravan to south where we will park the car and take the train down town to shop at the Saturday Market.” “Rumor has it that the visitors will be preparing a Japanese meal for us on Saturday night.”

“Sunday morning we will go to early church, then head to the coast." "We will drive up the north side of the river, cross on the ferry, and continue on the South side of the river. We will drive The Column, and have a picnic at the park there. Hopefully they still have the balsa wood planes to sail from the top of the tower.”

“We will then cross the bridge to the north side of the river, and see what we can find to do at the ocean before heading home.”

"How does that sound?" said Ruby.
