Shop Hop - The Finale

"This is far more than a continental breakfast!" said Ruby. Her traveling companions agreed as they enjoyed a sumptous repast provided by the hotel. The ladies were up and ready. They had 45 minutes of travel northward, and they wanted to get there by 9 o'clock. Things were going quite smoothly, and they knew they would make it.

The first stop was a shop called "Fairy Tales" and that it was. They pulled up promptly at 9 o'clock and a wicked witch came out and cast a spell on them that made them feel ugly, dressed wrong and moronic, all because they had arrived an hour too early. "I am NOT going back there!" stated Marigold strongly. Ruby agreed with her. They stopped and got coffee and plotted out the rest of the day. They determined which blocks they really wanted, and decided to skip the ones they did not. Daisy, really wanted the block at the Fairy Tales store. Ruby and Marigold gave her permission to go only if she thumbed her nose at the witch when she was done. Daisy agreed.

The day went smoothly thereafter, more cute shops, more delightful people, more fun. Daisy did an excellent job of navigating, although driving through the big city gave her the vapors.

They only had until 5 o'clock. They had just left a shop and had 5 more minutes to get to the next before everything was closed. They received directions... but following them took them to backed-up traffic. Marigold expertly brought the car through the maze of city streets to the front of the final shop. The door was open... Daisy flew out of the car and ran to it and stuck her foot in to hold it open for her companions. They had made it! YAY!

Being all shopped out, they headed home. They cranked up the CD player rolled down the windows and sang loudly out the windows to anyone who could hear.
