“It is strange” thought Ruby, “that vacations seem to fly by so fast, and reality returns so quickly”. She was back to the mundane again, doing her chores, mowing her lawn, driving to the infirmary, typing away, and driving back. She was back to her comfortable, routine ,but happy way of living. She was thankful she had it.
She has a busy weekend ahead, one that three weekends could fit into. She altered her shifts for Thursday, so she can attend an open house in honor of Baby Rube on Thursday night. Friday is her volunteer work at the constabulary followed by Baby Rube's graduation in the evening where she will officiallly obtain her associates degree. Ruby has to get a quilt block completed for her upcoming Saturday morning class, and then on Saturday afternoon she is attending a card-making class with Bramblerose and “Daisy”. She has plans of making a visit to Berilac and Bella on Saturday evening. She looks forward eagerly to each individual event, although the combination may leave her needing rest after the weekend.
