Ruby awoke and looked at the clock, 9:15 a.m.! She got up and got dressed and was making her coffee when the phone rang. It was "Daisy Speckletrout". The TV show that she had been laboring on day and night was complete and she invited Ruby over to see a finished copy. Ruby, after all, had helped filming some of the segments. It turned out to be more than acceptable. "Daisy" has every right to be proud.
Ruby quite enjoyed the show and a quick visit with "Daisy" and then she headed home. The morning had gotten away from her. It was almost time to prepare for work. Ruby is starting to fret. There are people coming on Friday night to play bunco,and she still has to pack for vacation. She also has to purchase a bathing suit. She would rather have a tooth filled or have blood drawn.
