Hard and Exasperating Things..

Donning her rubber gloves and ugly shoes, Ruby set about killing the dandelions in her front yard. "This is harder that it looks" she said to herself. After thoroughly spraying the front section, she had had enough of that for the day. She wondered why dandelions were held in such disrepute. They were, after all, quite lovely little flowers, and they seem to desire to be ground-cover. Nonetheless the Lords of the community frown on them when growing in abundance in your grass, and Ruby was forced to face that unfortunate truth. It is at times like this, that Ruby wished she had a husband.
