Sisters meeting Sisters

When Ruby got back home she checked her E-mail. She was pleased to find one from her on-line sorority sister Scarlet Carnation. "I will be in your area and I would like to met with you." it said.

Ruby was excited. Although she had never personally met Scarlet, they had corresponded for a while now. They both share a love for reading, and Scarlet introduced her to an author who is now one of her favorites.

It took some thinking about where to meet, but when Ruby saw where she would be staying, she said she would be meeting her right there. THe hotel looked very interesting, a retro-70's decor... with the trolley running and stopping right in front of it.

Carnation met her in the lobby. She knew it was Ruby by the yellow rose of frienship she was carrying.

Ruby got the tour. The decor was quite unique and the room was quite nice. It had a little kitchen. They then grabbed the trolly for a brief two-block ride. They then disembarked and walked the rest of the way to Rose's Deli where Carnation, Ruby and Carnation's sister Betty-Rose Garland, enjoyed each others company for a while.
