We were in The Maridal LeSeur Room. It did not have a beach view but was very comfortable.
Maridel LeSeur Room
Maridel LeSeur was a writer of children's books. Samples of her work were available in the room. She is associated with the Seed Corn Rebellion and articles about this were also available. She was a known communist, there were several publications from Karl Marx in the room and a copy of The Communist Manifesto. Ruby and Daisy joked about how the room made them feel rebellious. "I am going to wear white shoes before easter!" exclaimed Daisy.
