Silver Bells

"I had a fabulous day off yesterday" said Ruby. "It is so delicious to have a full 24 hours to do just as one pleases!"

She did just that. She got out of bed only when she was good and sure she felt like it. She went to the beauty parlor to have her hair done, she drove out to Bella and Berliac's place for a nice visit and a leisurely lunch. She did a little shopping. She took a late afternoon nap,and spent the evening watching the telly with Mungo,Myrtle and Bramblerose.

"Today is payday,and I must begin my shopping" she said.

She headed out early and began the battle. It reminded her of this Christmas carol:
