"The turkey is thawing as we speak." said Ruby to Bella on the phone. "I will prepare that and the dressing."
"Sounds good, said Bella, I will bring pies, rolls and carrot salad."
"Okay, said Ruby. "Myrtle is bringing mashed potatoes and uh... something else, but I can' remember right now what it is." I hope everyone will free to bring what they feel would enhance the meal, Ruby said.
"See you then on Friday at 1 p.m." said Bella
And so Ruby's thanksgiving is taking shape. Enjoy a shooting some turkeys while you wait for dinner:
