"How do you stand that loud music!" Said Ruby's next-door neighbor and swimming partner. She was referring to the contemporary music, available now in two separate services at their chuch.
"I love essentially all music." Ruby replied. "And I especially love that the opportunity is there every Sunday for not one, not two, but three different worship styles."
"Imagine going to a restaurant with the absolute best food available. Overindulgence in this food does you good! For the price you get three, lucious, guilt-free helpings served on differing forms of tableware.
The first helping is served on beautiful antique dinnerware. This has been handed down from ancestor to ancestor. You are changed by the food served on this plate and you are reminded of those who have gone before you who were also changed by it, and shared it with you.
Helping two is served on your own dinnerware. It's familiar, you are comfortable as you take in the repast and once again you are changed and brought closer to an understanding of its preparer and His closeness to you.
The third is served on the brand-new stuff...offering you a happy glimpse of how the food may be served in the future, and making you rejoice that it is still served with such love."
