First to arrive was Jimi Henrix, he knows the host, Jerry Oilman, or at least he knows his son son, Lorne. Lorne and Jimi are in the Army together. Lorne is a great base guitar player. He and Jimi are talking of starting a band together when they are discharged from the Army. Jimi is currently home on leave after a paratrooping accident. If you look closely, you can see that black marker he always carries. Why is that ?

Next to arrive was Fred Astair and Ginger Rogers. Fred found himself repulsed by the loud Raggae music being played over the Hi-Fi. Ginger seemed unhappy over a comment the host, Jerry, had made to her about cows. Why does Fred have that hankerchief in his pocket, and why does Ginger have a roll of packing tape?

Judy Garland and Rita Hayworth arrived next, both looking gorgeous as Tuscon Sunset. Rita was insensed with the guests at this little Soiree. "I am a princess after all!" she kept repeating, "I can't believe I must associate with such riff-raff!" She was a little put out with the host as well, something about her husband, the Arabian Prince, and oil prices. She carried a silk scarf and a string of pearls in her handbag, why wasn't she wearing them?
Judy was asked to sing, somehow she never got around to it though, and why was she carrying a bottle of Arsnic?

Bob Marley was there well. His odd ways of eating and untidy appearance which was all part of his Rastafarian beliefs really got Fred Astaire's goat. Why was he here? Bob said it was because the host liked to impress people with who he knew. Bob did not appreciate this.

Bruce Lee was there. The host had something to do with Bruce not being cast in the lead for the TV show "Kung Fu", even though the idea for the show came from him. Bruce had a bone to pick with the host.

Lucille Ball had a great idea for a movie, and she had been in negotiations with the host about financing the deal. The host wouldn't finance the transaction unless she would hire her estranged husband (a well-known Cuban band leader) to play a role in it. So it looked like the deal was going to fall through. Lucy put up a good fron, was very cheery, and spent the evenging seeking new people interested in financing this endeavor. What was she thinking behind that funny face, and what did she realy need the scissors, needle and thread for?
