A Trip to Farm Country Part VIII

It was the travelers final day in the country. Ruby said her good-byes.

"Good-Bye great porch swing. I will miss you when I have my morning coffee"

"Good bye Laverne...I love the way you purr, and the way you do the grand march on the bed in the middle of the night".

Ruby Herself

"Good-bye Lucy, you are such a good doggie....yes you are..".

Ruby Herself

"Good-Bye peaceful Mergatroid home"

"See the button with the hairy lightbulb? Press that if you need reading light" said the steward on the plane." "The one next to it, the one with the picture of the guy with the tray, don't touch that!"

Ruby and Daisy were happy to see that their puddle jump flight back home contained fun-loving workers, to make the time go even more quickly. They watched the sky closely. Sun was going down, but by heading west, it seemed to rise at times in the Western Sky. It was the longest lasting sunset they had ever seen.

The plane landed, and the steward announced "Welcome to Caracas Venezuela."
