Ruby’s Thursday Class began at 8:30 so there was no time for goofing around when she awoke. The class was in the Public Utilities Community Room. Ruby had never had the pleasure of being there before and she was impressed, by it largeness and the comfort she felt there despite that.
The presentation was fascinating to Ruby, although “DV” (domestic violence) is very disturbing subject matter. She learned a lot, and changed her attitudes about some things. Ruby came away more knowledgeable and hopefully of better help to those she may encounter who are dealing with this scourge, both to those needing help and those sworn to serve and protect them. The day flew by, and the class was over before there was any time for boredom to set in.
After coming home and fixing her dinner, Ruby went to Mungo and Myrtle’s for the evening where she enjoyed some new fall television with them along with Baby Rube and Bramblerose. It was a very full day.
