On Tuesday, Ruby was asked by the constabulary where she volunteers to help with National Night Out which is billed as a Good-By Party for Crime. Ruby arrived at the park early, and helped set up tables and arranged garbage cans. She watched as a fire truck pulled up and as police cars pulled in. They were giving away two very nice bicycles as door prizes. Sparky the fire dog was there,so was McGruff the crime dog. Ruby washed her hands and spent evening fighting crime by serving hotdogs.
